Montessori Schoolhouse Supports the Salvation Army’s Adopt-A-Family Program

Montessori Schoolhouse Supports the Salvation Army’s Adopt-A-Family Program Montessori Schoolhouse feels strongly about being part of the local community, so they adopted a family for the holidays as a way to show their support. The Adopt-A-Family (AAF) program is sponsored by the Salvation Army and matches impoverished families with sponsors to provide for their tangible needs at Christmas. Being adopted is designed to be a once in a lifetime event for recipient families. The community support prevents the sponsored families from experiencing a very grim holiday. The Salvation Army was amazed by the generosity of the families at the Montessori Schoolhouse, who purchased toys, games, puzzles, diapers, shoes, toiletries, household items, and many more necessities for our adopted family.
