Montessori Schoolhouse of Cheshire County is dedicated to give children the education they need to grow academically and as good citizens. We strive to provide a quality educational program to motivate and challenge each student, while providing for individual needs. We support the true Montessori philosophy by making Montessori teachings available to everyone regardless of economic challenges.

Montessori Schoolhouse Thanks Local Businesses and Volunteers for a
Successful Pumpkin Festival Booth Fundraiser
The Montessori Schoolhouse of Cheshire County raised several thousand dollars at its Keene Pumpkin Festival booth this year by selling Pumpkin-Pie-in-a-Cone, Savory Squash Soup, Pumpkin Whoopie Pies, and Pumpkin Spiced Coffee.
This fundraising success would not have been possible without the generosity of several local businesses and numerous volunteers. We would like to thank C&S Wholesale Grocers for their grant in the form of ingredients for our Pumpkin-Pie-in-a-Cone; Luca’s for agreeing to make gallons of their delicious Squash Soup; Ye Goodie Shoppe for providing the facilities and assistance in mixing and spicing the Pumpkin-Pie-in-a-Cone perfectly; The Pub Restaurant for assistance in ordering and obtaining additional ingredients; Green Mountain Coffee for their donation of Pumpkin Spice Coffee; Guyette Fire Protection for the Fire Extinguisher; Rymes Propane & Oil for the propane tank; and all the Montessori parents, staff, and alumni who volunteered to bake whoopie pies and work at the booth.
The revenue from this event funds our weekly Dance & Movement program conducted by MoCo and financial aid scholarships. Montessori Schoolhouse is a non-profit school that provides a developmentally appropriate Montessori-based toddler and pre-school education for children ages 18 months thru five years old 6 years.
